Tortuguero is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth — a labyrinth of jungle canals, black-sand beaches, and rainforest teeming with wildlife. Our small-group tours are led by certified local naturalist guides who know these waterways and trails intimately. Whether you want to witness a massive green sea turtle nesting at night, paddle silently past sleeping sloths at dawn, or explore the primary canals of Tortuguero National Park by boat, we make it easy, safe, and unforgettable. Tortuguero is one of the most important green sea turtle nesting sites in the Western Hemisphere. Available for online booking for stays July 1st – October 1st.
Adventure into Tortuguero national park. Beautiful walk under the stars searching for nocturnal animals, snakes, frogs, grasshoppers, scorpions, sloths, nocturnal birds and different types of plants. Inside the biological station & national park.
Register at the national park office then hike the Jaguar Trail. Guide shares species, vegetation, animals and forest. Park ticket $17 per person required.
Popular 2h tour deeper into the park. Mirror-like rainforest reflections, abundant wildlife. Coffee and snack served on board. Park admission $17 required.

Our guides are Tortuguero natives and certified naturalists. Groups are kept small (typically 6–8) to minimize impact and maximize sightings.
We follow strict park guidelines and maintain safe distances from nesting turtles and wildlife. Headlamps are red-filtered and no flash photography is allowed near turtles.
